New Site

Will we have to upload our avatar and redo all our info or will that be done automatically in the near future?? Also what is going on with all the open threads on the old site will they be linked here or do we have to communicate through both sites??, lastly is there now no members section??

We are not going to move the threads and the old site is going to be abandoned
There is a members section for supporters of LVVR. Vegasfish is the members secretary and knows who is a supporter. She is going to turn rights on for those who should have it. She is celebrating her child's birthday this weekend and will get the rights setup as-soon as possible.

It can take up too twenty four hours for all transfers from the old site to new to complete. If anyone is getting 404 errors on Sunday please let me know.

Not a priority, but can the "Welcome" message after completing registration be edited? It would be nice for new members to see something other then "LVVR forum" as a signature. Perhaps "Las Vegas Valley Reefers", the LVVR Club", or something. Anything that isn't a faceless forum.

EDIT: Also just noticed a limit of 25 messages. Can this either be bumped up or limited by actual size and not count?

Could have used a phpbb to vb conversion software and it would port everything over. Probably too late now though.

The pm's are more for supporting members. If you are a supporter vegasfish will get the rights setup next week. As for the old site there was to much corruption and hacks to import it into this site. I triied save it and vbullitin also tried to work on it they advised us to s**** it. .

I hate to be a pain but you can not use Disney characters with out permission. Had some problems in the frat with that.

Your not stupid. I have to assume your are on a Mac. I have only seen this issue on Macs. It started during testing after a Safari update.

what i did was set a bookmark to the forum instead of the homepage and everything has been fine since.... ill have to check the cookie monster!!!!

I've started activating accounts. I should be done by tomorrow afternoon (hopefully tonight though). If tomorrow evening you don't have access to the member's only section and aren't a member of the "I support LVVR" group, pm your info so that I can straighten it out.

This issue has been resolved. If still having this problem log out and clear cookies.

The issue with saltwater being censored has been resolved.

I made some changes today on somethings that cropped up as we have used the forum.

1 I changed the page navigation from three pages IE 1,2,3....5 to 5 1,2,3,4,5,...10 pages showing.
2 I changed the character count for the post body from 15,000 to 30,000
3 I changed the images per post from 4 to 8
