I just got the 240 moved to the new house yesterday, and let me just say if I had to do it again, I wouldn't!. I moved 200 gl of water, tank, sump, fish, and all the coral. It was an all day project.... I filled a 10' u-haul

I got the new plumbing for the sump done today, but I havent gotten the opertunity to hook up the lights. I have to build the canopy before I can put up the light rig. How long can my corals live without any artificial light? They get some sunlight through the windows for about 2 hrs in the morning but that's it... I really don't want to rush this if I don't have too:(

Thanks

people leave their tanks in the dark for several days when dealing with different issues, should be ok for 2 or 3 days I would guess

Use the 1ml for 10 gallons peroxide for the dinoflagellates.

Works great. I have been doing 1ml per ten gallons in my nano tanks several months now.

Works great for what???? Who's gonna cover 10grand in sps if it crashes??? Lol
I'm all for new things but this I have never heard...:(
So I'll try half that dose and see if I get any response..

We used it when we had dinos. That dosage, daily small siphoning, wet skimming, daily carbon changes, and reduced lighting period. I think it was under control within 4 days and I continued treatment for a few weeks. Still use peroxide in my smaller tank.

Did I miss something?? Is this related to lights? I knew I should have gone to the last meeting!

So far I haven't lost any corals, and all fish except a pair of fire fish accounted for.....
