Here is a stand i just finished up for my man dan..."necigrad"
who has not joined the new site yet and I have no way of getting ahold of hIm besides here lol.... He went back and forth with gunstock and black so I took it apon myself to combine the both.... Hope ya like it dan!!!!! Enjoy...

That's what he is putting on it... I made it where there is a 3" ledge all the way around the tank so he has a ledge to set stuff while he I working in the tank...

Looks great Lee. From the pics I really do like the black metal. I was actually kinda considering a bit of black. I don't know if I mentioned it or not, but I decided that it was easier to add black later. I think I'm happy :-)

Looks great. The only glitch I have right now is that it leans slightly forward. I'm thinking about leveling it out with cardboard, but I'm slightly concerned about uneven pressures on the base that way. Probably just paranoia, but if I'm right (and I doubt I am) it involves 24 gallons of saltwater on the floor!

you can level the stand with wooden shims or carboard etc....most likely its the carpet and once it is filled it will level out....

I'm actually sure it's the carpet. Or the floor. Or in my experiences of this complex it might be the slab too. But thanks, I'll have to shim it some today.

i used a aluminum thats called wrisco it comes pre coated with flat white material and gloss black on the other side......it's nice and easy to work with and route....
