lazy tang

I have a yellow tang and he is a picky eater i guess. I wave both types of algae one growing on rocks and the other given to me by Jerry and his wife. My tang would rather wait for the feedings of shrimp or blood worm type foods. mostly the shrimp. I have withheld food for simi long time frames but he still isnt eating it. any ideas?

well he was eating the dried sea weed from Greg and Donna. but being a meat eaters ok with me i guess i'll just have to remove the rocks and scrub off the algea before it smothers out anything like to ploips

Lol. I'm not sure why he's stopped eating greens, maybe he just got sick of them for a bit? Give him a little time, maybe he will switch back to herbivore. *shrug*

Out off all the tangs I have had only the naso will graze and clean up... The rest like prepared foods and wait... Be carefull starving him a pinched belly is a death sentence!!!

What is matsuri?

It's a show from Japan, lots of good music and amazing acrobatics. They are all very talented and it has a lot of good comedy for children, as well. Nothing that is adult rated, great for the family.
