I won this sweet coral at the last meeting and had an ivoluntary fragging:) It is mounted to a half shell and is a nice piece of the big one from the meeting sitting on the right of the picture. Anyone want to trade for something nice and red/blue or purple? will concider any color really but have a lot of green ATM. if not i'll just watch it grow:)

Is that frag from that HUGE coral you won in the super raffle?

I know its an SPS, I want to say its a birdsnest or something? I know I'm wrong though..just know its SPS. If I had the lights, I'd go for it.

I got a frag of hydnophpra and it's not growing at all for me. Also I was told to keep it away from everything else as it is strong and will sting other corals.

yea i try to keep space between everything. I don't know how fast they grow but these have some signs or growing areas like another coral i have.

they said it wants high flow and high lights. you got it in high flow area? looks like lights should be good if you have it high.

Yea, theres about 4500gph swirlin around in there...I think I shocked it by placing in too high right away, It has lost all it's tissue where it faces the light but where there is a little shade on the bottom side it seems to be doing fine. I'm not gonna touch it, well see if it pulls through. I hope so they are a sweet looking coral!
