best bang for the buck seems to be Vertex skimmers. Prob get a new one for your size tank pretty cheap

I've got a vertex on my 40b And love this thing. Skims ton of junk and is dead silent. Although I'm gonna go with a bubble Magus 220a cone Skimmer for the 240. The price on the bubble Magus can't be beat.
