Carpet anemone

heres the thing I bought a carpet anemone for my clown fish but it's staying flat with the mouth open ...whats wrong with it is it hungry...or what ...please help

are the carpet's little tentacles sticky?

We cant help you if you dont respond. What type of lighting do you have? I'm pretty sure that I have read in the past that carpets have strong lighting requirements.
