250 Watt HQI PFO Metal Halide Ballast (M85)

Im looking for a PFO 250 Watt HQI Ballast. I am going to try out some radiums :) If you have another style m80 ballasts that might work to.

Hard to find jay... They don't make m80 ballast anymore they have been replaced by m138 ballast which will fire radiums...
Someone might have a old one laying around thou.... Wass up with the solar tubes???? Don't sound good by this post???:(

The tubes work great for about 18" square area each without reflectors. Problem is I have 96" wide tank. I built some reflectors for the tubes but they are large and bulky and dont allow me to have other supplemental lighting.

I have one 250 pfo hqi and I have a guy on RC ready to sell me a double for 90 shipped. I may have to go that route or drop 300 for two new galaxy select-a-watts.

How much heat do you think the double pfo would put out. The single I have is not to bad at all.

I have a double... I have to keep a fan blowing on it and it still will burn your hand.. Those ballast run super hot!!!

Well ****. I might just bite the bullet and the 250-400 galaxy. At least I will have good reslae value with them and not be adding a ton of heat to my fish room.
