Hey all, long story short, I've got a 20 year old plecostomus that really needs a bigger home, and after a circuit pop this weekend that killed off a handful of my reef fish, I'm breaking down the salt tank in order to convert it to freshwater and move the pleco in (I've gotta, I've had the guy since I was 14!).
Mostly soft corals (thankfully), so everything is doing alright now that I've got flow restored.
$100 gets you everything you want (minus the tank itself and lights, I'll be using those in its freshwater reincarnation):
• Huge hammerhead coral, 5+ years old, a foot in diameter
• Tons of ricordia
• Ditto xenia
• Various other softies
• A tankful of live rock
• Live sand, chockfull of goodness
• Misc cleaning crew
• Remora Pro skimmer
I've got a 5+ year old maroon clown and a large brittle star that are recuperating, as well as a couple of cardinal fish that have previously bred in this tank.
I'm located on the SW side of town, send a note if you're interested!
