Letting everyone know I am back, I would have posted more on the forums. It seems the goverment doesnt like our Http tags, so it was blocked after like a week lol. But AR15 forums are A ok!! Anyways letting everyone know I am going to be attending next meeting.

Being deployed really makes you love America lol.

Fun Fact!!
Drinking is illegal in Iraq... EXCEPT!! The superbowl!! How crazy is that? Got two beers on the Superbowl but the Fourth of July, New Years, Memorial day, Labor day... Nothing.. Dry.

Wow that's pretty crazy! Have never been to Iraq but did go over to Italy when I was in the AF and that sure was a good time! Glad you got home safe!

I don't know how much things have changed since the late 80's. When I was in the Navy floating back and forth in the Persian Gulf for months a t a time we would stop the ship of the coast of Saudi Arabia and we would get the beer barge sent out. We had to disembark the ship to the barge and could have two beers. It was better than bilge wine.

Yeah, You can have near beer whenever you want. But they flew real beer into the country for the Super Bowl! lol. You should have seen the line to get a beer!! it was impressive
