LVVR Banner Design

LVVR needs a new banner for RAP. The old one is well old. Design a new banner and send them to Tomgl. All banners will be displayed on the site for member vote. Most votes wins. Banner needs to be 6' x 2.5' when sent to be printed. Please send them as Illustrator files. Can't wait to see them.

Images. As many of you know the VP before me disappeared during his term. He had the logos designed and had the originals. I was able to get one jpeg from Bob (past President) and everything we have is a copy of that one image. I had our graphics artist at work convert one to an AI file. It's ruff and I have never had time to clean it up. The image at the top of the forum is one I made because our logo did not look right. It is not what we would want on the banner. I have all the files I have created on our FTP server. PM me for the info and password to the files. As for a prize I have an idea I'll bounce off Mike.

Here is a picture with the banner we have now. The banner image on the FTP is the one we send out for the convention websites. I'd like the to be the same for the new banner.

Banner needs to be 300DPI or more. We would need one of the following formats. jpeg, tiff, eps, or pdf. Illustrator and Photoshop files are also OK.

Has anyone made anything at all yet? I know someone has to have a photograph they are proud of to make the banner unique... I only have 35mm negatives of the ocean, no decent digital pictures from an aquarium.

Hopefully someone makes a banner (so tom doesn't have to ;) )

The banner doesn't have to have any pictures in it...it could be all illustrated and be just fine. Its about design, not how pretty the pictures are on the wall.

I feel like I was discriminated again because I'm computer illiterate and was not able to participate due to my limitations. I'm going to be notifying the ACLU/ADA and even AARP of the this. I'm willing to settle for the prize though, and to drop this potential law suit which would bankrupt LVVR.:laughing9:
