I have a chiller, that's at least 18 - 20 years old. I used it on my 180 gallon tank way back when. It's been sitting in my parent's barn for 14 years. Anyone in the club know anything about refurbishing these? I'm going to put a new electrical plug on it as it's in pretty bad shape, but overall it looks to be in generally good shape.

Ok, I took the cover off, and it's an Aqua Logic fan cooled model. Serial number is in the 1200's, that's how old it is. I replaced the electrical plug in wire and plug, and....it works!! It's got a digital controller on it, and it all turned right on as well as the compressor and fan!.
So, since it requires in-line plumbing, and the inlet is 1" while the outlet is 3/4", I need to know if anyone out there has a tank we can plumb this on. Even though everything works, I really have no way of knowing if there's still coolant in it and/or if is actually able to cool water. If any of you have a need, hit me up and let's talk. I really don't want to get rid of it permanently, but I can't use it on my Biocube and I'm a long way from getting anything else anytime soon. So I'm open to talks about "borrowing" it for a really long time or something. Would be easy to hook up to a frag tank to test it if anyone's willing...

Sean, bring it over and we can test it on some stuff here. I have a few tanks laying around empty that we can fill with fresh water to make sure its working. And lots of extra plumbing materials.
