Kole tang vs Purple tang

Hard to say... What size tank??? Purple tangs are notorius bullys!!!!

Well it's a 55gallon but there all small fish. I only got him because I have a 240 I am working on and am gonna transfer everything over eventually. I acclimated the purple for over an hour which was a good thing he is still staying strong. However the Kole tang is being the bully and getting his but wooped.

If you need to unload one of them I'll be happy to house either one!! I love tangs have five in my 100 gal mix reef, they all get along sometimes the yellow tang likes to remind the other tangs who’s boss but after 1 year together never harmed each other to a point that one would stress (others are: Clown tang, Powder blue, Sailfin, and Naso) all swim around grazing non stop. I plain to upgrade knowing soon they will need more space.

They might settle down and get along. Might keep fighting too. Give it a few days and see what happens.

The Kole settled down as of this morning.
The Kole was not a very good fighter got it's side damaged a little. Purple doesn't have a scratch. The Kole tried to use his tail razor but kept swimming into the purples it was very interesting to watch. They are both fine now. Thanks for help

I might look into finding a temp home for the purple until you get that new tank up and running. I know from my past experience that fish seem to fight a little more in small spaces. I'm sure there is a few people here that would fish sit for you. Just a thought, or sell him and buy a new one at a later date
