Cant we all get along

I just checked my tank tonight and my blue chalices are having 6inch feelers stinging the **** out of my war corals. Any rule of thumb how far away chalices or things with feelers are sposto be away from other stuff? (further then they can reach:confused:)

will chalices sting each other? Minor damage or death?

Yup, some of mine put out some pretty long tentacles at night. When 2 chalices are close they really seem to go the extra inches.

Really is not exact amount. If you put two corals in completely different sides of the tank they will eventually grow into each other.

I would say put them in a space that allows room for growth without stinging each other. Then once that space is taken up you'll need to trim and monitor it.
