Ok I wanted to know what these are.

I wanted to know what these were, they seem like mushrooms and anemone. Someone could let me know that would be great. What is this?

It looks cool. What was the one we were discussing at the meeting? That wasn't the picture you showed me.

Its a type of anemone generally called a rock anemone. Shouldn't be a problem

Try searching the name Epicystis crucifer

MOJANOS SUCK!!!! They will sprout up in the center of your colonies and they will start to receed. I have been told by numerous people not to worry about them. But your zoas are where they will usually pop up. You can try to get rid of them with the same stuff you do with aiptasias ,but from Greg and my first hand knowledge they sometimes use that as a kind of a growth formula, and then sprout up with twice as many as before. I dont see any of my fish helping with them ( I have 30 in my reef) but they seem to be slowly but surely leaving. I can count less than 20 in a 400 gallon tank. I have seen them totally take over other peoples tanks!!!!

hey jimmy I read somewhere that if you boil water and inject it into the mojano while still hot it kills them.

the person who did it had a rock covered in them said they were all gone after that. Says to do one at a timeslowly that way the hot water does not afect your tank. Maybe somthing you may want to take a look at or try.
