Tangs

I have a Powder Blue Tang in mix reef already for 5 months now, I want to include a Achillies Tang. Will these two get along?

Achillies tangs are real sensetive and hard to keep usually only can geta bigger ones. how big is your tank and which would be bigger?

Minor thread jack but what's a good starter tang as well? I like powder blues and browns. Suggestions?

Yellow tangs are good starter tanga they are probably the most hardy of all the tanga any blue tang should be quarantined for at least 6 weeks as they are more prone to ich then other tanga

Well the Powder Blue is about 4" , so I think I'll pass on the Achilles for now!

Okay, we all keep talking about clown tangs but I've never seen one or even heard of them. Help?

I was always told puples are the meanest and should be put in last. I had a powder blue and he seemed pretty mellow. powder brown is the one who always starts the fights well in my tank anyway.
I had a hella time putting in any new tangs as the ones with territorys beat them pretty bad.

purples are the most common for the mean tangs in a home aquaria they are worse then pb and pblue together.

Well I think I have a pretty peaceful tank so far!! It includes one of each: Yellow Tang, Naso Tang(female), Sailfin Tang, Clown Tang, Powder Blue Tang, and Blue Hippo Tang(newest) and wanting to finish with a Purple Tang. I know at some point I'm going to need a bigger tank if I want to keep it peaceful, living among the Tangs are; Flame Angel,5 Blue/Green Cromis, Percule Clown, Six line Wrasse, Yellow Coris Wrasse, Marble Wrasse(from Bob),Yellow Watchman Goby, Green Mandarin Goby, Spotted Mandarin Goby, and Lawnmower Blenny.

I really am thinking I want a sailfin eventually. I love the look of those guys.
