INStruction manual??

i must have tossd it,,,the skimmer is a hydor 1000 btu ,,,,i have tried hydor.com but they instructions dont pull up,,,,i just need to find out how to adjust it??? i mees with the two air valves and have even moved the water level adjuster,,,i did get a maxijet 1200 pump...i dont find the instructions anywhere online

Not to sure, but most likely it will over flow for the first week till it breaks in. They never work right at first. Just throw it in the sump and let it run, you should be able to dial it in next week by using the water level adjuster.

No skimmers really come with directions.... Open the air all the way and crank the exit pipe valve wide open and in a few days start closing the gate or ball valve on the exit pipe until you get a nice foam head to collect... Should be right around the neck connection area.. Hth

ok,,,i opened the air valve intake all the way and extended the pipe on the side to where bubbles are hitting the neck,,,
or do i extend the pipe on the side all the way up or push it all the way down???

Pull it up for now... After like 2 days start moving it down slowly until it starts skimming.. Right now it won't really adjust that well... The skimmer needs to build a slime coat inside of it for the foam to collect correctly... Right now it will just be a turbulent beast and skim, overflow, not skim, overflow etc haha..
