i have my 225g up and running,,,i just put the lights back in and noticed some small minor scratches in the tank
so my questions are...
do the scratch removal they sell at LFS work???if so how hard is it to use??? im worried i may make matters worse if this process is not easy,,,i have also considerd hiring someone to do it for me,,,,do any of you reefers know how to do it and wanna make extra $$ or do yall know a company i can hire,, i do have water in the tank i have not mixed salt yet so i can drain if its a must...i would like to do this asap so hope to hear from someone,,,

10 yrs back i had a acrylic 60g it had minor scratches i couldnt stand it,,,,i ended up tossing it and swearing i would never do acrylic again,,,i dont recall they had these kits then or i probably didnt pay attention to look,,

I know ATM will do it at your house for 75$ an hour. And I know someone here who does it, sure they will chime in

I talked to this guy at a convention. He comes to Vegas. I watched them completely trash a piece of acrylic and have it repaired in minutes. http://acrylicscratchrepair.com/

I charge about a $1 a gallon for scratch removal. It's perfect upon the completion. Tank must be drained though. It's worth every penny.

It's cheaper if you only need the front done. I have to see it in person to give ya an exact price.
