Aquapod has a small leak

Get the LR done, add sand, add fish, and now it leaks :(. On the bright side it's not a bad leak. The leak appears to be along the top at the black moulding/frame. Can I just drop the water level a few inches, add silicone, and wait a day then fill it back up?

There's no special precautions is there? I'm thinking that just getting the corner dry (mostly as practical), then keeping the water level and associated splashing away fromt he silicone for the cure time. No danger of the off gassing endangering the fish or anything? I'm just overthinking this aren't I?
